Apple's Continuing Success

One reason that I've been wrong on Apple recently: international sales. In my myopic, right-wing, "USA!" chanting, inbred patriotic fervor, I've forgotten that there's a rest of the world. Just because it seems like every one of my domestic Apple adoring friends already has an Iphone, Ipad and Macbook, and thus Apple sales should really be starting to peter out, doesn't mean that the same is true of every Chinese, or Indian, or even German Apple devotee. My bad.

But it's still a reasonable short.

No Blog Posts

I have almost completely stopped writing blog posts these days. I think it's been something like six months.

I know, I know: you all miss me like you miss the big black hair in your spaghetti at your (formerly) favorite Greek diner on 54th and 2nd... But I miss myself! Doesn't that count for anything? Oh - don't answer that question.

Anyway, I couldn't figure out what had gotten into me. It was like I'd lost interest in everything interesting.

But then it hit me: I got a Motorola Droid about six months ago. As a result, I very rarely open my laptop on an airplane any more. The Droid is so spectacular at doing just about everything that I don't really need my laptop. Unfortunately, the Droid does not have a full-size keyboard. So I don't write blog posts.

I am going to make a concerted effort to abandon the Droid on planes from now on and get back into blogging. There are just way too many weird things going on, and so many people are saying so many stupid and silly things these days that I just can't keep up my silence much longer.

So charge a drink to the Underhills, strap on your helmet and get ready for some roller derby. Or whatever.
